Sean Rowe is a Troy-based singer, songwriter, naturalist, and forager. Inspired by music legends like Bob Dylan, Rowe taught himself to play drums and bass at a young age. After spending years learning about music and wilderness survival, Rowe knew without a doubt that he wanted to make music his full-time career and wild food foraging his full-time obsession. Rowe subsequently spent five years cutting his teeth in upstate New York bars, and has since released four full-length albums and EP including The Darkness Dressed in Colored Lights, which was released in 2021 via Fluff & Gravy Records.
Rowe’s songs have appeared in hit television shows such as Parenthood, Queen Sugar, and The Blacklist, with the most notable being “To Leave Something Behind” which was prominently featured in the Ben Affleck-starring film, The Accountant.
