In support of Racial Justice & Social Equity

Standing in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement, and in opposition to the senseless acts of violence against black communities in America, Forts Ferry Farm has created this donation portal to support social reform organizations pivotal to reversing systemic racism, inequality, and police brutality in our society. While we understand that money alone will not bring back those killed or harmed by racial injustices, we recognize a need to take a stand against abuse and oppression. 

For every dollar donated to the organizations listed below, we are committed to matching it dollar for dollar up to $5,000. Meaning that by donating through us, your support is doubled, with a total goal of donating $10,000.

Campaign Zero is a national organization focused on Police reform, through police interventions, improving community interactions, and ensuring accountability.

Citizens Action is a New York based organization with local chapters throughout the state fighting for social, racial, economic, and environmental justice.  Using a grassroots strategic approach, Citizens Action has a proven history of battling forces of racism and oppression through providing education and legislation in economics, housing, health care, the environment, and our criminal legal system.

The Center for Law and Justice is an Albany based organization advocating for the equity of local communities, and the fair treatment of all people throughout the civil and criminal justice systems, and works to reduce reliance upon incarceration.

In addition to donating, we encourage everyone to educate themselves and those around you of racism and social problems that afflict our community.  We support peaceful protests and must make our voices heard in the voting booth by electing political officials who support the causes that we believe in… and then hold them accountable!!!
